I have a 2001 bmw 325ci, I have a leak in one of my cooling hoses. The hose that comes out of the top of the radiator has what looks like, for lack of a better word a "Nipple" on the top of the hose. Coolant is spraying out of a pin size hole in the nipple. Do I need to buy a whole new hose, or is there a cap I can put on it? Thanks

Hi Customer (name blocked for privacy),

I'm happy to say that I think this is an easy fix. I've included a diagram to easily identify what your talking about. I believe your talking about part #2. If so it's a 3-5 dollar part. If this isn't what your talking about let me know and I'll try my best. If I can't help you I'll gladly opt out and let another Expert help you.

Hey, thank you! #2 is the part I need. Where do I get that part? do I have to go to BMW to get it?

Sorry about the delay, I was away from any computers for the weekend. Yes, any BMW dealer will have that part. Every time we do a coolant flush or cooling system repair, we always replace that little screw. Or you can try www.realoem.com for it but then you would have to wait for shipping. Thanks again for using Just Answer.
